Key Dates

The District 11 Legislature race is decided in the General Election on November 3, 2026. There is no primary for this seat, and the June 23 primary for other offices has already passed. The dates below are everything you need for the general election.

General Election: November 3, 2026

  • November 3, 2026: General Election Day
  • October 24 to November 1, 2026: Early voting period
  • October 24, 2026: Voter registration deadline (received by the Board of Elections)
  • October 24, 2026: Deadline to request an absentee or early mail ballot by mail or online (in person until November 2)

Find Your Polling Place

Not sure if you’re in District 11? The district covers Eden, Brant, Evans, Boston, Collins, North Collins, Gowanda, and Orchard Park, plus Lake View, the part of the Town of Hamburg that falls within District 11.

Absentee Voting

If you can’t make it to the polls on Election Day, you can vote by absentee ballot:

  1. Request an application from the Erie County Board of Elections or call 716-858-8891
  2. Complete and return the application by mail or in person
  3. Receive your ballot by mail, fill it out, and return it: postmarked no later than November 3 and received by the Board of Elections by November 10, or delivered in person to the Board of Elections or your poll site by 9 PM on November 3

Early Voting

Early voting is available for 9 days before each election at designated sites across Erie County. Check elections.erie.gov for locations and hours.
