In trauma care, bleeding injuries are a leading cause of preventable death. The American College of Surgeons Stop the Bleed program teaches the public how to recognize a bleeding emergency and respond to it in the minutes before help arrives.
This training is free and open to the public, and no medical background is needed. It is a skill worth having whether you are on a farm, a job site, a ball field, or the road between here and the nearest hospital.
Space is limited. Please RSVP so we know how many to expect.
